Grace is a 3-4 year Anatolian/Pyrenees mix. She has been at the shelter since early spring. She is about 120 pounds. Grace has made so much progress. She had not been socialized when surrendered to the shelter. She was a guardian dog for sheep but did not do well. She loves attention, cuddles, and just being by your side. She would be best in a home with adults and older children 12+ years. She is a little shy at first but warms up to you quickly. We would not recommend goats or sheep. She is in foster and is doing great with a Chihuahua. She desperately needs a home with lots of room to run and play. Help us find her that perfect home. She is such a pretty and precious girl. Grace is both people and dog selective and weighs over 100 pounds, which can be intimidating given her possible reactivity. It has been tough trying to find the RIGHT adopter for this beautiful girl. It would have to be a specific individual who could handle her. Please help us find the right situation for her.In a Foster Home

Do not forget to bring your pets inside when it is too cold outside. IF IT IS TOO COLD FOR YOU, IT IS TOO COLD FOR THEM! The law says: During cold weather, a dog shelter must have a windbreak at its entrance and have bedding material that is sufficient to protect the animal from cold and promote the retention of body heat.
